The spillway and river valley under fresh snow at Pecos River Cliff House

Home · Winter Getaways · Ski Santa Fe Lodging

Ski Santa Fe lodging.

A private riverfront retreat for your Santa Fe ski trip, about a 1 hr 15 min drive from Ski Santa Fe: carve the Sangre de Cristos by day, then come home to a fireplace, warm floors and the sound of the Pecos.

Getting to the slopes

About an hour and a quarter to Ski Santa Fe.

Ski Santa Fe sits at the top of Hyde Park Road (NM-475) in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains above Santa Fe. From the Cliff House it's about 56 miles, roughly 1 hour 15 minutes in normal conditions: west on I-25 to Santa Fe, then up Hyde Park Road to the ski area.

Instead of a hotel room in town, your group gets an entire private property on the Pecos River, with space to spread out, a full kitchen for early breakfasts, and a quiet, starry night when you get back.

  • Ski Santa Fe: about 56 miles, 1 hr 15 min
  • Santa Fe Plaza: about 30–40 minutes, for dinner after skiing
  • The house: half a mile off I-25 on a county road maintained year-round

Santa Fe in winter

Galleries, green chile & snow on adobe.

Pair your ski days with Santa Fe itself: the Plaza and Canyon Road galleries, Meow Wolf, and plates of red and green chile at local favorites like La Choza and The Shed.

Back at the Cliff House, winter brings snow on the red rock, quiet trails and winter trout below the spillway, which keeps flowing all season.
